Still more challenges - Purple Pumpkin and AFSC

Here is the cool Mayy sketch from Purple Pumpkin along with my design team take on it. Head over to PP to see the other DT members fantastic pages and have a try at this one yourself. There are PP goodies up for grabs and believe me they are to die for!!!
I spotted this kaisercraft 'boy' collection when I was browsing the aisles at Scottie Crafts. It is really cool for these cheeky little boy photos that I seem to have quite a lot of at the moment! The die cut wheel shape was perfect for this sketch and I inked the wheels of one of Benjis matchbox cars to make the tyre tracks around the edge of the redd polka dot paper circle :) All the cute co-ordinating embellishments are sold in a pack along with the papers so it really is effortless to make a matching page. The cool blue rosette and the truck button are ofcourse Purple Pumpkin delights :)

My next page is my DT take on the new challenge at Another Freaking Scrappy Challlenge. The challenge this time is to create a page based on your garden or an outdoor area that means a lot to you. I took these photos of my kids at our local park and I often think how lucky we are to have this beautiful park a short walk from our house. I used my OA 'Sidewalk' papers and embellishments for this one as the colours and patterns really suit the mood of the photos - I especially love that cute little card with the silhouettes of two children playing ball together :) I also love the Prima canvas mistable banner. I made my own tags from patterned paper and used Tim Holtz hole re-inforcers to jazz them up a little.
Thanks for looking at my pages - and I hope tht you have time to try one or two of the awesome challenges out there this month xx
