This is my take on the August DT challenge over at Sketchy Thursdays. I loved the sketch and the challenge was to include the colours red, yellow or orange, a journalling spot and a summery theme. Well it is the middle of winter over here and my recent photos are not looking too summery so I took these cute snapshots of Benji at the local playground and made a summery-looking scene around them. The papers are a mix of my favourite October Afternoon collections, including the newest one that I bought 'Rocket Age'. I cut the grass border using a Spellbinders die and the Picket fence using a Tim Holtz die (both available at Scotty Craft).
