This gorgeous photo of our little man has been sitting in my 'to do' pile since Benji turned 2 in February. I wanted to do something a bit special with it since it was taken on the morning that he turned 2 (you can see the little cardstock number 2 that natalie made for him around his neck Well the colours for this weeks Colour Combo's challenge are not the ones that I usually use, but when I looked at this photo against the neutral colour scheme it really 'popped'. The patterned papers are 'My Minds Eye' and the gorgous chipboard border is from 'Dusty attic'. I love the classic, timeless look that these colours give to the page and I will certainly be experimenting again with more muted tones. Sometines it takes a little nudge to get us to try something outside our comfort zone and to discover something reallly cool! (thanks Colour Combos!)

Gorgeous photo and layout Sarah - isn't it funny how we get comfortable with certain colour schemes bright layouts is what I struggle with!
another absolutely gorgeous layout ... doesn't look as though you were scrapping outside your comfort zone, that's for real!
