Little Fiji Boy

I have been loving the new paper collections from MME so when the sketch challenge for March appeared on the MME blog I had to give it a go. Here is my page. I used a combination of Miss Caroline and Follow Your Heart papers and the gorgeous co-ordinating chipboard The vine is from Prima and I dressed it up with some gorgeous MME brads. I used wooden butterflies as masks on my background cardstock and sprayed over them with Calico White (Mr Hueys) spray ink. For my title I adapted one of the MME chipboard scroll stickers. It originally said 'Always be true to yourself'. I used mini alphas to spell out my title hiding the printed words on the scroll. I then inked over my mini letters so that they blended into the background of the embellishment and didn't look so 'new'.

The photo is one of my favourites of benji in Fiji. We had just bought him the new island style shirt and he was very happy to pose for a photo in it :)
