The current topic at Once Upon a Sketch is to use their cool sketch and journal about something you, yourself are proud of. Well I can't think of anything that I'm more proud of than my gorgeous family so here they all are (me too for change) on Omapere beach in January.
I love the woodgrain background paper. It is part of the new MME line Miss Caroline which I absolutely adore. The blues, kraft and white colours really remind me of the beach I also love the Mr Hueys 'calico white' spray ink that I used on the background it is one of the best opaque white misters around. Spot my Prima wood clock - they are becoming a bit of a feature on my LOs at the moment :)
Now here is Sophie's very first LO for the new junior scrapper challenge (Sophie's corner) at 'Show us Your Stuff''. Yesterday we spent a very happy morning in the city with my dear friend Els and her family The highlight of Sophie's day was giving Els's baby grandson his bottle and as soon as we got home she wanted to scrap these photos. Here is her page:
Her page is 8x8 size as this is less overwhelming for a 7-year old than trying to fill a full sized 12x12 page. She loved spraying the background with my glimmer mist and I let her loose on some of my old stash. She was so proud of herself when it was finished. I think you did a great job too Sophie xx
