At the Park with Daddy

As soon as I saw this photo of my husband on the flying fox with Benji in his arms I knew I had to scrap it! Benji was so disappointed that her was too little to manage the ride himself so he was over the moon when dad agreed to ride the zip line with him. This was the first of many rides that day - and boy, was daddy stiff the next morning :)
My papers are from the OA 'Sassparilla' collection. I had wanted to use the cloud paper as a background for a while now but it didn't seem to match any of the blues that I had in my outdoors photos. These photos were perfect because they don't have any sky or sea to clash with the paper colour yet the cloud theme is perfect to set them off. I misted the background (ofcourse - my LOs never seem finished these days without some misting or machine stitching) using a crafters workshop cogs and wheels mask. Then I added soome bigger splodges of ink. The large 'element' tag was from a pair of jeans that I bought for one of my boys - it has been waiting to be used for a while now and as the current theme at 'Scrap the Boys' is recycling I added it to my page. I added some strips of tissue tape and a journaling sticker to the tag to dress it up a little. The hessian flower is another one that I handmade a few weeks ago and the banner and wooden embellishments are ofcourse from 'Prima'. The gorgeous 'Pink Paislee' cotton spool button that I used as a flower centre is one of my favourite recent purchases. They come in packs of around 12 and are just divine. I bough two packs last week and will probably head back to Scottie Crafts sometine soon to pick up some more!!
Have a great weekend xx
