Check out the april challenge at Stuck Sketches!

Here is my DT take on the second May sketch over at  'Stuck' sketches. I love this photo of my in-laws with Benji on his 3rd birthday. I think the love that they have for each other really shines through. I used craft cardstock as my base and stuck some Tim Holtz tissue tape at opposite corners. I then misted the page with red and blue adirondack spray inks. After allowing it to dry completely I dry brushed white gesso over the whole page before randomly splodging with red, green and blue ink.
I wanted my photo to be the focus of the page so I built up layers of patterned paper (Prima), journaliing cards, muslin, tickets and other embellishments as a mat. I further emphasized the photo by adding a hand-cut circle frame. The gorgeous blue doily is from Purple Pumpkin.
You have until the end of the month to have a go at this one yourself. There are great prizes to be won and the other design team members at 'Stuck' have provided some great inspiration to get you started.
