Its all about the Hunt!

If you are like me and have not started to scrap your Easter photos from this year yet then the challenge over at Kraft it up this month is for you! All you have to do is use a kraft background cardstock or paper and scrap about what Easter means to your family - easy eh!
Here is my take. I used a Kraft background paper from Kaisercraft and I randomly added some strips of tissue tape. Then I used a liberal amount of pink acrylic paint to dry brush my background paper including the tape. When the paint was dry (I use a hairdryer cuz I'm dreadfully impatient!) I used a doily mask and sprayed brown spray ink over the painted background. It looks great just like this but I added a bit more detail with my new tim Holtz background stamps (well I have to use them now I bought them don't I?) I loved the way the background turned out, so why did I then add 6 photos to cover it up? Well I couldn't choose - they are all my favourites and I wanted to include all my children on this page. I had loads of fun adding my embellies - lots of Purple Pumpkin here, some Prima goodies and  a mesh trim that I bought last year at Halloween and haven't used yet!!
A little hand journaling and a long title finished my page.
