Last month I was thrilled to be invited to be a guest designer at the challenge blog 'Scrap Africa'. My challenge was to design a page based on this sketch
I love these photos of my eldest daughter and her little brother taking a walk along our local beach. The setch was perfect for them. I used beautiful MME papers and sprayed blue ink over the background using my new crafters workshop hexagonal mask. I then used the negative of the same mask (which I also recently acquired) and covered up the area that I had previously sprayed matching the pattern as perfectly as I could. I resprayed the cardstock with yellow glimmer mist. The result was yellow hexagons with blue centres - very cool!! Do go visit the girls at scrap Africa (http://scrapafrica.blogspot.co.nz/) and peruse the awesome talent over there - have a go at this challenge yourself - there are great prizes up for grabs and guest DT opportunities.
