The Rock Walk LA
The third challenge at CSI and Once Upon a Sketch is live. Here is my take on it. The colours this week are really cool and I found them easy to work with. I had this photo in my 'to scrap' pile and I thought that it would be perfect for these rather 'boyish' colours. My background paper is from 'Pink Paislee' I splodged and misted it as per the 'evidence'. My other piece of 'evidence' is the chippie birds (from Scrapware). I took out my last pair of chippie hands for this page and I was just about to throw away the negative frame left behind when I thought how it reminded me of the rows and rows of hands on the Rockwalk. I decided to incorporate it into my page just as it is. I backed one of the hands with green patterned paper for a bit of added interest.
I found it harder to relate the 'testimony' prompts to this picture and in the end I used the word 'read' from the inspiration words. Nothing else in the testimony list seemed to fit my page. A little washi tape and a bit of machine stitching completed my layout.

I LOVE this page-I love how you've used the hands-something a little different- to embellish and tell the story
