When I saw this sketch at 'Scrap Friends' I immediately loved it and thought that it would suit my style well :) My eldest son recently turned 22 (Yikes!!!) and I have lots of photos of his special day. This was one of my favourites because it is such a natural pose. I decided to let it stand alone as the focus of this page.
I had a lot of fun spraying and masking my background. I bought the October Afternoon 'Woodland Walk' sprinkler inks from Scottie Crafts yesterday and I was itching to try them out. This page gave them a good work out and I was pleased by how beautifully the three colours in the pack blend together to make a multi-toned background. The papers that I used here are Echo Park's 'For the Record 2'. I layered and clustered many elements together - so fun to do! I added the title to the centre of my chipboard clock and hand journaled the details underneath my photo.
Hope you are all having a good week and looking forward to a great weekend. Here in NZ it is the lastday of the school holidays. My kids are a bit sad, but we have had a great two weeks and Sophie has crossed almost everything off her holiday 'to do' list!

Dunno how you do it, but every LO is just wonderful & this is no exception...LOVE the colours & embellies around the photo....glad the kids have had such a good hol they don't want to go back to school...surrounded by poms on this boat...that's OK...most are retired teachers, it seems!!!! Off to Greece tomorrow...well, heading that way...been in Albania today. Interesting. Makes me glad we're so isolated from other countries & territorial stuff in our part of the world:):):) OH, & as always, thanks for playing along at SF:):):)
