A Touch of Magic

My kids have always loved the Hairy Maclary books by Linley Dodds so when I saw that a local theatre was putting on a run of Hairy Maclary shows I got tickets to surprise them. What made the day even more fun was that they both got a whole day off school/kindy too :)
The show itself was really good - both Sophie and Benji were spellbound for the entire performance and after the show all the characters came out and mingled with the children. It really was a magical exerience for them.
The current word challenge at Bird is the Word is 'Touch' and when I saw these photos I thought the phrase 'A touch of Magic' would make a great title. I made this page entirely from scraps of left over OA papers and Washi tape! The cute little tags and stickers are from the new Pink Paislee 'Portfolio' collection. This is a really great line of papers and embellishments. It seems to co-ordinate well with a lot of my favourite current papers including OA, MME and Heidi Swapp. The fabric photostrip is also part of the Pink Paislee collection.
Have a great weekend wherever you are !
