Sweet 16

Here is the latest challenge from CSI. These colours really appealed to me and I thought they were fresh and up-beat. My eldest daughter has just turned 16 and this was a great opportunity to scrap one of my favourite photos from her special day. My papers are a mix of scraps left over from OA, Studio Calico and Amy Tangerine. I used lots of inking and stamping on my background - making great use of my Crafter's workshop and dylusions masks :)
I used scallops, dots and stripes, circular things and labels from the 'evidence' list and for the 'testimony' I journaled using the birthday prompts. This present may not be the best present ever but it was certainly one of the most unusual (I have journalled a fuller version of the story on the back of the page).

I based my page on this sketch from 'Lets Get Sketchy' (I rotated the sketch by 90 degrees clockwise). I used the chipboard star to replace the banner element next to the main photo.
Do check out both these awesome challenges - there are great prizes up for grabs and lots of awesome DT inspiration!
