The Start of Something New?

We are off on holiday tomorrow for two weeks - all 11 of us (all the kids plus girlfriends are coming too). I just have time for one more challenge to share with you before we go. So here is is - the New Year challenge from Once Upon a Sketch:

The challenge is to scrap the 'Start of Something New' and use this sketch:

When I saw these photos of my little kids 'playing' Xmas carols on Xmas eve with their Oma I knew that I wanted to scrap them. This theme fits perfectly with my 'new genertion' of musicians. I sprayed the music notes onto my background using a chipboard shape as a mask. I completed the background with other masks and inks. I really just play around with my sprays and masks until i get the look that i like. My papers are agaiin from the Teresa Collins 'Now and Then' collection.
Hope you are having a great week and that all my NZ friends are enjoying the gorgeous sunshine today :)

This is beautiful! I love the stenciling and all the elements, but I REALLY love that you included the close-up of the hands.
