Love you!
Here is my page for the next reveal over at Another Freakiing Scrappy Challenge. I hope Anne doesn't mind me posting a few hours early because I want to enter this one into the MME 'Groundhog Day' challenge and it closes very soon lol :)
When I look at this photo of my beautiful eldest daughter I am reminded of how lucky I am to be her mother each and every day. I love her so much and she really is the teenage daughter that every mother dreams of having.
My papers are MME - I really love this collection. The sunnu yellows and pretty pinks really suit Natalie's personality. Oh and have you noticed - no ink splatters or masking on this one :))) I had fun making the banner from lots of bits and pieces. I made the mosaic heart from egg shells following a tutorial by Gabrielle Pollacco that I saw in a magazine ( I think it is in Australian Scrapbook Ideas but I'm not sure) .
Basically you wash the shells and remove the membrane. Adhere crushed shell pieces to a die-cut shape using a strong craft glue. Colour the shell with alcohol inks and allow to dry thoroughly. Finally coat the entire shape with a thick layer of dimensional magic. It looks really effective doesn't it!
Anyway have a great weekend, and hop over to AFSC later today to see this reveal and maybe have a go at it yourself :)
