My Girl!

When I got wind of a brand new challenge blog and e-zine I had to check it out. Life, Paper, Scrapbook can be found here and their very first challenge is a sketch challenge.

I love sketch challenges and just had to give this one a go. I had just taken these photos of Sophie posing in her new hat and gloves (which she had decorated herself from a kit that we bought at Spotlight) Now Sophie is a real 'Girlie Girl' and there is no such thing as 'too much bling' in her vocabulary. I had a great time reflecting her love of pink and glitter on my page.
The papers that I used are an older line from Cosmo Cricket called 'Clementine'. Although I really love them I found that the colours were a little hard to match with other manufacturers products so I have a lot of this collection left. I decided that now was a good time to make a dent in them and I am pleased that I did. They look great with these super-girlie photos! Some of my embellishments are from the gorgeous 'Emmas Shoppe' from Crate paper - another older line but one that I still love.
Hope you are having a great weekend and are enjoying the lovely weather (if you are in Auckland).
