Love Each Moment

These colours are so lovely together aren't they? I have taken them from the current colour challenge over at Scrapfriends. The photos of Benji trying (largely unsuccessfully) to get his kite to fly were a great match for the summer-like hues. Again I have used Teresa Collins papers - this time from the 'He Said/She Said' collection. I inked and masked my base paper and splattered various coloured inks all over the page. I used my Cameo to cut the doily to ground my photos. I added lots of delicious little embellies (largely from Studio Calico) and a title cut with my Cameo (ofcourse).

Check out those adorable wee kites. They are from 2crafty chipboard. I covered them with patterned paper, sanded the edges and inked around them. I used a black paint dauber to paint the tails.

Oh, and here are 2 more pages from my Project life album. I am currently up to date with 2013 - yay!!!!

Hope you are having a better week that we are - yesterday my 8-year old daughter Sophie fell off the monkey bars at her school playground and broke her arm. She is now in an above elbow cast for the next 4-6 weeks :(. Despite this she's still smiling - love you Sophie!

Love the background on your layout. Hope Sophie recovers soon and her cast doesn't get too itchy. My son and my husband both broke their arms falling off the monkey bars!
