Do What You Love

Sarah Groen OCT GDT

Last month I was lucky enough to be a challenge winner at 'Scrap the Boys' I was asked to be a guest designer for this month. The challenge is a colour challenge - blue and green -easy eh. Here is my page. I love to blow up my favourite photos really big and make them unquestionably the focus of my page. This was one of those photos that I knew I would enlarge. I love the look on Benji's face as he sees all those pigeons just waiting to be chased! I alo love the way he is dressed in his favourite 'Batman' t-shirt and cape on our Sunday trip to the city.
I used very little patterned paper on this page. I sprayed my background cardstock through a chevron mask with various shades of blue and aqua ink. I cut my title on my cameo and overlapped it onto the 'white' space in my photo.

The 'today' card is part of my Studio Calico Project Life stash. I often use PL cards on my pages they add an interesting touch with minimal effort. A few small embellies and some sequines and the page was done.

Hope you are having a great week week and if you are in NZ that you are enjoying the last few days of the school holidays.
