I couldn't go past this awesome sketch at 'Scrapfriends'
I mean, how cool is that? Here is my take on it. Basically I copied the elements in the sketch using any bits and pieces that I could find in my stash. I created the watercolour effect in the background by spraying dylusions spray ink and water in a strip across a piece of baking paper, then laying my background paper on top of the inky strip and pressing it down. You can repeat this process with another colour if you wish to build up the background effect.
I loved the idea lots of different frames around the photo. I used Crate Paper transparencies as the base then added cardstock and chipboard frames over them. I added details using stamps, washi tape and bakers twine.
The word 'moment' in my title is a 2Crafty chipboard product. These 2crafty word and phrases make great titles with very little effort (just a coat of black paint and outlining with white gel pen).
Thanks again for visiting my little part of the blogosphere. Have a great Anniversary day tomorrow if you live in Auckland!
