Happy - the Feb sketch from 'Stuck?' is live!

Yep its the beginning of a new month again! The new sketch from Stuck is really fun to work with. here is my take for the Stuck? design team. I took the photo of my eldest son and his girlfriend on our recent summer holiday. They look so happy together that the title for this page was a no-brainer! As there was so much blue in the photo I ran with the colour and made a monocromatic page. I used texture paste and a mask to create the background and sprayed over the page with diluted spray ink allowing it to blot and pool.

All of the chipboard that I have used is from 2Crafty. I love the 'loopy words' and often use them as my titles! Here I have used a favourite technique of mine and painted the word black then outlined the letters using a white gel pen. It really makes the title 'pop'.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend. It is a beautiful sunny day here in NZ and we are going to have fish and chips at the beach for dinner. Do pop over to the 'Stuck?' blog to check out the other DT members awesome pages and look at the prizes that you could win if you take on this months challenge!

You've captured the essence of water with that wonderful inky background. So creative! I love it.
