Always Follow your Dreams

I love this photo of my little girl giving her all at the kids 2k dash at the Albany Lakes series races. She is a fantastic little runner and she always has a huge smile on her face. I wanted a special page for thisn photo and when I saw the new sketch at 'Sketchabilities' I knew I had found it.

I know I have said this before, but I really can't go past the Sketchabilities sketches. They are so detailed and so 'me'! I followed the design as much as possible with ink drips, stencils and stamps. I used textyre paste and a mask to get the chequerboard pattern on the background (not sure if it shows up very well in my photos but it looks great in real life).

I layered paper scraps under the photo and added some tags and die-cuts. My title is a 2Crafty phrase painted with grey distress paint.

I journaled on a label and added a sub-title with mini-alphas underneath my photo.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today - hope that you are having a great weekend :)
