Project Life Pages

I have spent the morning getting up to date with my Project Life whilst Sophie reads her newest Jacqui Wilson book next to me - not a bad way to spend a couple of hours.
Here is my spread for those of you who like to see my PL :)
As you can see I do cram a lot of 'stuff' onto my spreads - it is kind of a visual diary for our family. I try to keep each pocket fairly simple - unlike my very layered, inked and stencilled traditional pages. I love adding ephemera and journaling directly onto my photos. All my journaling is handwritten. It is much quicker and I am one of those rare people who actually likesthe look my own handwriting :)
Here are a couple of close ups of the individual pages:

PL is a great place to scrap all those less than perfect photos that would never make it to a traditional pagge but which bring back precious memories when you catch sight of them - see the photos of my big boys playing catch with their younger siblings as the ball!!! It was such a fun time, but the photos are dreadful - blurry and dark. So I photoshopped them as much as I could, printed them out small (2x2") and arranged them in a sequence to tell the story. I think that it works OK to preserve the story and the imperfect photos are hidden amongst all the other busy page elements.
Have a great day :)
