It was Our Moment

Here is the latest challenge from 'Off the Rails Scrapbooking' and my take on it. Anyone who runs will know that getting a good photo at a race is a rare occurence so I was delighted to get tbhis shot of my partner and I crossing the finish line of a recent half marathon race together. it was Mark's first ever 21.1k which made the occasion even more special.
I rotated the sketch 90 degrees to the left before beginning my page. I chose to run my journaling cards and other ephemera down the page in place of the heart confetti. My papers are mainly Studio Calico - a mix of project life cards and paper scraps. I often use my project life stuff in my general scrapbooking as it is so cute! I incorporated all the colours from the colour swatch onto my page - they 'popped' really well from a dark background paper.

I cut the word 'our'  in my title from patterned paper and completed the title using 'Thickers'. I managed to dust off quite a few of my smaller stamps and include them on this page too.

Thanks for visiting my blog today and do hop over to 'Off the Rails' and take a look at their awesome DT work and cool challenges.
