Benji - Scrap the Boys August challenge

Happy August everyone - it will be Christmas before we know it! This year is just flying by. The one good thing about another month rolling over is all the new challenges out there to tempt us and keep the creativity flowing. This month the challenge at 'Scrap the Boys' is 'Profiling'. Here is my take on this for the STB's design team.
I have recently acquired the October Afternoon 'Public Library' collection and I am absolutely in love with it. I have used mostly items from this collection for this page - with a few bits and bobs from my stash. Spot my new 'hessian' stamp  (from Kaisercraft) - it is one of those really versatile stamps that can be used on almost any page type and I am loving it.

I hand-journaled a few facts about my little son Benji at 5 years of age. They were just the first few random thoughts that came into my head when I thought of his likes and dislikes at this cute age.
Sometimes it is good to journal like this - you tend to record the little details of life that may otherwise be forgotten with the passage of time.

I really love the way this page has turned out. Sometimes it takes a great challenge to get you out of your comfort zone and to create something a little different and precious.
Hope you are having a great week and looking forward to a creative weekend :)
