We're Off! - Once Upon a Sketch Sept Challenge

Once again I couldn't go past the 'Once Upon a Sketch' challenge. I love this cool sketch and the challenge to use handwriting on the page was 'made for me'.
I chose these two photos from the very beginning of our trip (hard to believe that it was less than 3 weeks ago!) Benji looks so cute on the travellator with his little wheelie suitcase and pillow-pet. He didn't walk for very long though - preferring to travel in leisure in the stroller with Natalie pushing and Sophie pulling both his and her own cases!
I used Kaisercraft's 'Now Boarding' collection for this page as it was the obvious choice for airport photos.

I had the little 2Crafty Mickey Mouse chippie pieces in my stash and as we were travelling to Disneyland they made the perfect embellishment. I simply painted them black and outlined them with white gel pen.

I handwrote my story directly onto the background with a black gel pen.
Hope you are having a great weekend - the dreary Auckland rain is a bit of a shock for us after the beautiful California sunshine! Hmmm I wonder if there are any jobs going at Disney - I know that Natalie would love to be a 'Princess' :)

This is fantastic, I thought straight away that a trip to Disney land may have been the destination with those mickey ears right there in the centre of your layout.. great take on the challenge!
