The Story of Today - Kraft Plus may challenge

Have you checked out the new Kraft + challenge blog yet? It is a really fun site with a very talented design team and some gret challenges to play along with. Here is the May challenge board and my take on it. The row of books reminded me of this sheet of paper from Kaisercraft which made a perfect kraft background for my page 'the Story of Today'. I was also inspired by the 3-up photo frame and the colours in the board.
The photos were taken when my daughter and her best friend were kayaking together. Sophie had spent the night at Emmas house to celebrate Emmas 10th birthday. When it was time for me to pick her up neither girl had had enough so Emmas dad offered to take them kayaking. As you can see from the photos they had a great time and it really was the perfect end to the birthday party.

When I use a kraft background I love to contrast it with very bright colours which really pop from the page. These oranges and yellows were perfect.

I hope that you have time to visit the Kraft Plus blog this month and try out this awesome challenge. Have a great weekend !
