Everyday Love - Sketchabilities 141
Again 'Sketchabilities' have come up with a fantastic sketch challenge. I LOVE the sketches that Karan creates - they re so detailed and I feel they complement my scrapping style so well.
I took this candid photo of my eldest son and youngest daughter at my other son, Adam's 21st birthday celebration at our place. I love how happy and relaxed they look just enjoying the evening together.
I love the look of white paint on kraft cardstock and for this look I used watered down acryllic paint in an old ink spray bottle. I inked and stencilled on top of the paint for a 'grungy' look. I kept the rest of my papers and embellishments neutral except for the one pink flower at the side of my photo. I accidently dropped this onto my page as I was putting it together and really liked the way it drew my eye to the photo. So I left it there :)
Thanks for taking the time to visit my page today. I hope that you are all enjoying that 'Friday' feeling and looking forward to the weekend :) Tomorrow is going to be busy for us. Sophie is taking a master class with the Royal NZ Ballet at 8am and Benji has his first soccer tournament at the same time. Talk about being torn in two directions!
