"true love' - Kraft Plus November challenge

The challenge over at Kraft Plus this month is to be inspired by Pink - not the colour pink but the artiste Pink! Cool eh?
These photos of Sophie meeting her puppy, Daisy,  for the very first time just had to be scrapped. I used the song title 'True Love" by Pink as the inspiration for my page as it certainly was 'love at first sight' between Sophie and Daisy. We had told Sophie that she was travelling to watch her brother play in a soccer tournament a couple of hours away from our home. She had absolutely no idea that she was really going to be picking up her 11th birthday present - a much longed for puppy.
When we pulled up outside the breeders house we told Sophie that we were lost and needed directions to the soccer ground. She literally had no idea what was happening until Daisy was placed into her arms and I said 'Happy birthday sweetheart - you have your present in your arms right now! Her reaction was priceless - she was totally overcome with joy and excitement! It was a moment that I will never forget as long as I live!
I used a 'splatter' mask to ink my background for this page and I used a combination of patterned paper scraps and project life cards to matt my photos.

I handwrote the story directly onto my background as I almost always do - I have too much journaling to fit onto most journaling cards!

Ofcourse I used plently of pink in my colour scheme in keeping with the inspiration criteria!
