Making Grandpa Proud

This is my favourite photo that I took of Benji whilst we were in the UK last year. He is standing beside the Britania Stadium - home the Stoke City football club and my home town. My late father was an avid football fan and Stoke was his club. I bought Benji a little Stoke City strip in memory of his grandpa. He looked so adorable and I know my dad would have been so proud to see him. It was a very emothional moment for me - but ofcourse Benji just thought that it was a good opportunity to pose:)
I recently came across a new (to me anyway) challenge blog - Berry71bleu. Their challenges are fun and they have a great design team. The current challenge is 'white space' - which i am not very good at creating! I thought that this special photo was a great one to scrap for this challenge as I really wanted it to shine on the page. I tried really hard, but this is the best that I could do!
I am hoping that the paint splattered brick background will count as 'white space' (well the paint splatters are white anyway!) I did manage to cluster most of my elements around the photo. I incorporated two banners to reflect the club flags. My papers are mostly Teresa Collins 'He Said/She Said, but the background brick paper is from Kaisercraft.
Hope you have a great weekend wherever you are and that you find a little time to craft or do something that you love to do!
