Here is the new challenge at CSI and my take for the DT. Aren't the colours pretty? I chose a photo from our vacation last summer in beautiful Russel. I have seen lots of amazing banner elements on LOs recently and I was keen to have a go at making one myself. I used up a lot of pre-cut flags from my Teresa Collins collection as well as hand cutting some myself. I added buttons and chipboard elements to finish off the look.
I tried using a wax crayon resist technique to make the white circles on my background paper. It didn't work as well as I had hoped but the idea is there and I quite like the 'handmade' look to the circles.
From the evidence list I chose wood, jewels and hearts (in my banner) and I added jewels to my journaling spot. Here are a couple of close-ups of my banner.
