The midmonth challenge is up at Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge. Here is the sketch and my DT take on it.

I hope you can see the sketch in my page - it is in there honest :))) I was inspired by the work of the amazing Georgia Heald for this page. I love how she makes her own unique multimedia backgrounds and arranges eclectic collections of embellishments just perfectly to highlight her photos. I really went to town on my background work using sprays, masks, paint, texture paste and sequines. I wanted to give the impression that all these things were exploding from the photos (like in a comic strip). The sun in the sketch reminded me of a comic book style.
I took these photos of Benji and his big brother Jaime one afternoon last week. Jaime had bought this cool Batman T-shirt and cape for Benji and they were both fooling around in the lounge playing 'super heros' - too cute for words! My papers are from Studio Calico and the banner elements from Teresa Collins.
