Its a Girl Thing
The new CSI challenge is live. here it is and my DT take:
As you can see it is also a sketch week - my favourite as I love working with Em Stafrace's awesoome sketches.
Natalie had a cultural mufti day at her school last week. She dressed up as a gypsy and looked stunning. This weeks sketch was perfect to showcase a few of my favourite photos of her from that day.
I used Teresa Collins 'Daily Stories' papers - they were girly and matched her clothes well. I used my new prima stamps to make a faux stitched border around some of my paper blocks.
The gorgeous title is a 2Crafty product. It was originally welded together into a rectangular 'corner' shape but I cut it apart and spread it across the page to really make a feature of it. I painted it black and outlined it with white gel pen (I think this is my favourite way to dress up chipboard).
From the evidence list I used jewels, hearts and doodling and I journalled about Natalie's quirky style.
Hope you are having a great weekend and that you find a little time to check out the CSI blog :)
