More Baby Layouts :)

The weather has been so cold that I have been loving snuggling up in the evenings after the little kids are in bed watching the soccer world cup matches with my big boys and scrapping. Here are the LOs that I have completed recently.
Benji has just turned 16mths old and really has this walking thing sussed. he is always (and I really mean ALWAYS) on the go. It is definitely true in my experience that toddler boys are more full on than toddler girls. Both my girls would sit and read a book or watch a video from a very early age, but Ben just wants to kick a soccer ball around outside or race his toy cars around the floor shouting 'brummmm'. The main photo on this LO was one that I almost deleted. i had my finger on the delete button when I suddenly realised that it actually told the story of who Benji is right now better than any beautifully posed photo could. He is just leaving the frame - on his way to more mischief and much to busy to stand still! I used the absolutely gorgeous new Kaiser Craft 'Jungle Bug' papers teamed with some sassafrass embellishments. i just love the result. It is such a reflection of little Benji just as he is today.
The photo on the second LO was taken at the Paradice ice skating rink. I was stunned to see how old Ben looks - not a baby any more. The papers are Kaiser Craft and I made the big blue circle in the background by spraying glimmer mist through a Crafter's Workshop stencil and then usiing the ink covered stencil as a stamp on a sheet of white cardstock.
I made the third LO with October Afternoon scraps. I love the photos of benji asleep. He looks so sweet and innocent.
The photos for the final LO were taken last week when my youngest and eldest were watching soccer together. The colours in the 3 Bugs in a Rug papers really matched Chris's shirt. I used Tim Holtz masks to ink the gears in the background. I am really LOVING these masks and experimenting with making my own spray inks.
Here is my spray ink recipie - thanks to Wendy and Ann at Scotty Crafts:
One dropper full of ink (your choice of colour), a pinch of opals irridescent powder and water mixed together in a Ranger mini-mister tube (available at Scotty Crafts).
Thanks for reading
