Ballet Day and other moments to treasure

My girls have just completed a couple of weeks of dance exams. I love to see them looking so beautiful in their ballet leotards and neat hair. This LO shows Natalie before her advanced foundation exam warming up with her teacher. The gorgeous MME papers (new in at Scotty Craft) and Kaisercraft wooden embellishments were perfect for the LO. Ofcourse Prima flowers go with any theme (well almost anyway).
Not to leave out the boys, my 19 year old recently got two trophies at his soccer prizegiving. He was coaches and players player of the year. The MME paper that I used on this one is actually from the 'Sophie' collection but as you can see it can be used just as well for a boy theme. The trophy is clip art that I downloaded from the internet and printed out onto white cardstock.
Finally a couple more 'everyday' photos scrapped. Little Sophie learned to tie her shoe laces recently. I used a tecnique that I saw on one of Michelle frisby's LOs at Scotty crafts for the background. She used mesh as a mask to paint through then stuck the painted mesh down to the LO as an extra feature. I thought that the result was stunning and couldn't wait to get home to try it out myself. Thanks Michelle!!!!
The LO 'So Adored is based on this weeks sketch at Pencil Lines. I just Love these photos of Natalie and Benji playing chasey at the park. The Echo Park papers (left over from my DT pack - thanks Ann:)) were a perfect match to these fun pics.
Thanks for looking:)
