I spent a very long time today playing with my Prima Gates that were new into Scotty Crafts this week. I LOVED them as soon as I saw them and I bought one of each of the 4 types. I had the idea to make an interactive LO with the gste opening and closing. I used the gorgeous Lost and Found papers from MME (also from Scotty) and my trusty Martha Stewart punches. I backed the gate with some floral paper then carefully cut it down the centre. I mounted each half using a piece of folded cardstock as a hinge on oposite sides of the LO and arranged my photos carefully so that my daughter was peeping out from behind the gates. I used the reverse side of the gates for journalling and further embellishing. To finish off I wound some vines around the gates and added some gorgeous prina roses.
Hmmm now what to do with my other 3 gates???

can totally see why you love it ... it's gorgeous ... those gates used like that and backed - fab-u-lous!!!
Those gates opening are very very cool! I might have to scraplift seeing as I bought 2 that I havent used yet!! :)
