Winter woolies

Well, we have just arrived home from our annual family vacation - literally an hour ago! The weather here in NZ this summer has been really wet and we had a lot of rain. So it was not too hard for me to think of winter as was the theme for this challenge at Another Freakin Scrappy Challenge. I had only limited supplies with me on holiday so i didn't have much to work from for this page. I initially wanted to use the coloured version of these photos but I did not have any papers to match the bright blue and red of Benjis clothes. So, I converted them to Sepia and got to work with my spray ink and 'farmhouse' papers. The DT brief was to use this sketch
and to make a LO about winter, children playing in the snow, winter scenes etc. I flipped the sketch and rearranged some of the elements to fit my design.
Have a look at the other design team pages at AFSC they are really awesome! Why not have a go at this one yourself. there are prizes to be won a guest DT spots up for grabs :)

Whoa, Sara, so glad you 'had' to convert the photos ~ they look fantastic with the papers...I think my next buy will be the 'farmhouse' collection! Thanks for the inspiration...not so hot [weather] here, either, but hard to think 'Winter', nevertheless:):)
