Little ballet girl

Here is the new sketch challenge from Get Picky and my take on it. I found those triangles a little bit daunting but once I changed the main focus into a banner the page just fell together. I took the cute photos of Sophie last week. She has been looking forward to getting her new purple ballet leotard and character skirt for a while now. This week they finally arrived and she got to wear her new uniform to class. She was thrilled and I had to mark the moment for her. The papers that I used are a combination of MME and October Afternoon 'Farmhouse' collections. These papers match so well (lucky me since I love both of these collections). I did lots of fussy cutting and layering on this one and it ended up having quite a whimsical feel.  I was pleased to find just the right colour purple alphas in my older stash of Basic Grey.

This soooo gorgeous & yes, whimisical - love how you caught the skirt swirl... & love those big green pearls, too. Great take on the sketch. Looks difficult to me:):)

The photos look just like the part of the paper design - the colors match so well (and with the rare purple =)

What a beautiful shot of her twirling in her new character skirt...and PERFECT addition of purple to the existing MME palette, to tie everything together! Great work with the sketch AND the products, love it!
