The case at CSI this week was perfect for scrapping the photos of London that I took on our trip. The colours were very 'English' and one of the journaling criteria is to write about a landmark that you have visited - easy eh?
Big Ben was one of the sights that Sophie was most looking forward to seeing in London. She was thrilled when she first caught sight of it. Benji insisted that it was called 'Big Benjamin Nicholas Mark' (which is his full name) and I'm sure he was convinced that it was named after him! Even now when we show him the photos he says - "look, that's Big Benjamin Nicholas Mark" - too cute. I wanted to make a layout to remember this and also to document Sophie's joy at first catching sight of Big Ben.
My papers are from Ruby Rocket - they are perfect for a London theme. Yesterday I was lucky enough to get hold of the Tim Holtz Pocket Envelope die and I couldn't wait to use it - so here it is! I put my journaling tag into it and a few other items of memorabilia. I can see that you will be seeing a lot of this particular die in the future! It is so cute and versatile.
I had a lot of fun making the banner. The patterned paper already had a banner print on it so I decided to make another overlapping using lots of miscellaneous odds and ends.

Lovely LO...I've just joined in with CSI for the 1st time & saw this over there! I had no idea how to load up - so used to using the Mr Linky it seemed ODD uploading from my computer....anyways, I really, really am in lurrve with your Tim H envelope. Drool time:):):) Oh, & I thought you KNEW Big Ben was named after your Li'l Ben???!!!!
