Play - new Challenge at Frosted Designs

This is a really fun one - all you have to do is incorporate JOURNALING CARDS into your page or project - yep, thats it! Easy eh??
Here is my take for the Frosted Designs DT:

I used up several October Afternoon journalling cards instead of patterned paper for my background design. If you are anything like me you will have heaps of these lying around from older collection packs and this is a really great way to use some of them up. I used my dylusions mask to create the diamond pattern in the background and dribbled some red ink randomly over the page to tie in the red in my photos with the rest of the page.
The photos of Benji were taken in Stoke-on-Trent. This is my home town and Stoke City was our local soccer team - the team  which my late dad avidly supported! In a fit of nostalgia I bought Benji the Stoke Strip and we visited the Britannia Stadium (we actually stayed in a Holiday Inn right next door). He looks so cute in these photos and was so proud of his new 'big boy' soccer clothes :)))
If you are looking for an easy challenge do head over here  and try this out. There are great prizes up for grabs and it really is a fun and simple challenge .
Have a great weekend :)

Loved this so much & the whole idea, that I gave it a go today. Man! If you thought Webster's pages were busy, just wait 'til I get around to putting mine up!!! I really like your colours with the string & the stitching:):) Was nice to scrap today. Did TWO!!!

Sarah, the photos you used in your layout are simply beautiful! You also used a mask and paints which are some if my favorite techniques, too! You are truly an awesome artist!
