A day at the Wharf

The new colours at CSI this week are really cool. Here are this weeks criteria:

Before the school holidays began this year Sophie wrote a list of everything that she would like to do during her break. One of her wishes was to get the ferry into the city, eat ice-cream at the ferry building and go for a walk along the viaduct and wharf. Well, on the first sunny weekend day that we got this is exactly what we did. It was a really fun family day. One of the highlights for the little kids was watching the draw bridge open to let a tall yacht out from the harbour to the sea. I snapped this photo as they were all sitting with Mark watching the bridge open. i thought that it was particularly cute as they are all sitting in height order :)
The papers that I used are from the October Afternoon 'Woodland Park' range. I am seriously in love with that sky background paper - I think I got 5 sheets of it lol! From the evidence list I used woodgrain, circles, and a grid design. I have to confess that I forgot to read the testimony criteria before handwriting my journaling, so I added the little grey flower as a bit of an afterthought to my journaling area. I think that it works though :)
The colours are really great to work with - this is a great challenge to have a go at if you need some inspirtion!
