Smiles in the City

When I saw the new colour challenge at 'Scrapfriends' I was really inspired to give it  go:
Aren't they yummy colours? I chose to scrap these photos of Sophie and Benji enjoying the sunshine at Union Square on our San Francisco trip. The fun photos matched the fun colours. I chose to make the majenta colour a little more red to match the shirt that Benji is wearing. I sprayed and masked the background with pink and red spray inks. My papers are Heidi Swapp,Pink Paislee 'Portfolio' and some older scraps of October Afternoon. The gorgeous chippie kites are from MME. I have wanted to use them ever since I got them several months ago and this was finally the perfect LO for them.
I cut my title word 'Smiles' using my Cameo - I am so in love with this machine!!! Especially for cutting out fancy titles :))) A few strips of washi tape completed the look.
Thanks for visiting my blog and do hop over to scrapfriends here and look at their fabulous DT projects!
