This is one of my favourite photos from this summer holiday. jaime and his beautiful girlfriend Cindy, at Omapere beach. I used the current sketch inpirationat 'Scrapfriends' as my basis for the page.
Isn't it a cool sketch? All the Scrapfriend's sketches are as beautifully detailed as this one - you just can't help reaching for your stash to play along!
I wanted the colours to reflect the 'beachy' theme so I used these neutral papers from Basic Grey and
highlighted them with blues and yellows of the Pink Paislee 'Portfolio' collection - one of my current favs! I received a lot of these gorgeous products in my prize kit from 'Flying Unicorn'. (Thanks Flying Unicorn and CSI!!). The flowers (which were also part of the kit) were exactly the right colour to complement my photo. I jounalled on a co-ordinating tag and used various jar lids to make white paint rings over my background paper. A few strips of washi ape and some canvass birds completed the page. Hope you are haviing a great weekend wherever you are :)

Yep, recognised the paper...I really like how you've popped the tag on the left like that....they ARE neat sketches! THREE years. Now, that sounds sorta almost serious???!!!!! She looks a lovely girl, which is the main thing:):) Loving your painty circles, too....happy weekend:):)
Beautiful layout! It does have a beachy feel about it without being too obvious. Bravo!
