A Beautiful Smile and an Award!

First the smile! My eldest daughter has worn braces on her teeth for the last two and a half years. On Tuesday the day finally came for them to be removed. She was so excited. When she saw herself in the mirror for the first time she just couldn't help smiling and I think the smile hasn't left her face since! I took this photo after we left the orthodontist rooms so it really was her first 'brace-free' smile for the world.
The challenge at Berry71bleu is to scrap 'What colours your world' - this girl of mine is my rainbow child. She really is the happiest, most easy-going soul I have ever met. She colours my world every day! My papers are a mix of the beautiful Basic Grey 'Seranade' collection and my 'go to' favourites Pink Paislee 'Portfolio' and Heidi Swapp.
I added the little pops of red to match the hair ribbon in Natalie's hair (hard to see on the photo but definitely there )
My title is from 2Crafty designs. They really have the best selection of chippie titles in the most gorgeous fonts. This one was a perfect fit for my page.

Now onto the award:
A few days ago I was thrilled to receive a 'Leibster' award from the lovely Heather McMahon. Incase you have never come aacross this award before here is a little bit about it:

The Leibster Award was designed to be a blog award in the pay it forward fashion. It is awarded to blogs that have fewer than 200 followers to encourage new visitors to them. Once you have been nominated you award it to five other blogs.

The rules are: post the award on your blog, give the award to 5 bloggers who you appreciate that have fewer than 200 followers then leave a comment on their blogs to let them know you have given them this award.

I am a huge fan of Heather's work and am very flattered to have been on her list of nominees. Thanks so much Heather - you are amazing!
Now I have a long list of 'favourite' scrappers whose blogs I love to visit. A lot do not fulfil the leibster criteria as they have more than 200 followers. I tried to think of 5 scrappy-friends who have not received this award before. Here is my list :

Beverley Cunningham - Bev works at my LSS, Scottie Crafts. Her work is simply stunning!!!

Sue Smith - Sue is also on the team at Scottie Crafts. I think the best words to describe sue's work are 'elegant and timeless'.

Miae - Maies blog is realtively new to me, but I am in love with her creations! Her work is full of eye catching details!

Sherry - Sherry is another scrapper whose work I only recently came across. Her use of colour is breathtaking!

Crece - I have been lucky enough to work alongside Crece on the Purple Pumpkin design team. She is one amazing scrapper and I really love her work.

These girls are all amazing so do go and check out their blogs. There are so many more inspirational scrappers out there whose work I admire so much. It would take all day to list you all!
