I just got the new Studio Calico 'Sundrifter' and 'Here and There' collections and they are both just gorgeous! I love all the little bits and pieces that Studio Calico put out with their collections (the wood veneer shapes have to be my favourite!) When I saw the colour challenge up at 'Scrapfriends' I knew that I would be able to have a play with my new papers and have a go at the challenge to. Here are the colours:
Aren't those colours gorgeous? I chose this photo of Adam and Natalie because they look so happy and their smiles go well with the colours. Natalie is doing photography this year at school and chose to use her big brother Adam as her model for the year. Her challenge was to photograph him doing what he loves to do best - hence the guitar, as Adam loves to compose and sing his own songs. They had just finished a photoshoot at our local wharf when I snapped this shot of them on their way back to the car. I knew I would scrap it as soon as I saw it.
All the papers and embellies on this are from Studio Calico or American Craft (except the Tim Holts film strip). I can't get enough of the coloured enamel dots that I have used like confetti on my background. they are so fun!
Hope you are having a great weekend :)
