Sweet

Here is the Stuck Sketches mid-month sketch and my take for their design team. It is a special reveal for us as it is the first 'proper' reveal for the DT with laura, the fab new owner of the blog. Isn't that a great sketch? Laura has dome fantastic sketches lined up over the next few months so don't forget to check in regularly and play along.
For my take I used one of my faourite Kaisecraft collections 'Sweet Pea'. This is ultra-girlie and perfect for these photo of my little daughter and her friend relaxing in the cafe after doing the first part of their RAD grade 2 ballet exam. They had to return later in the day to do their solo performances and I took them out to lunch to take their mind off their nerves and to have a little fun.
I used my Silhouette cameo to cut the heart shaped background design then basically just piled on layers of paper scraps, tags, and embellishments. Here are a couple of close-ups.

The great thing about this collection is all the cool 'collectables' that go along with it - just perfect for layering!
Oh, and just one more close up of the gorgeous Washi Tape that I used . This is from MME's newest collection 'Cut and Paste'. It comes in tubes of 4 rolls and seems to co-ordinate with just about anything!

Now hop on over to Stuck and chack out the other DT member's pages! This is a really great challenge to have a go at if you are looking for something fun to do this month :)
