Busy Doing absolutely Nothing

I never can resist having a try at the sketch challenges at 'Scrapfriends'. Their sketches are always so amazing and so 'me'. This one is no exception. As soon as I saw it I couldn't wait to pull out my stash and have a go. Interestingly one of the things that I loved most about it - the space for three photos, I ended up modifying and used just one elongated photo instead. This photo was taken on Natalie's 17th birthday. She has named this local view point 'Pandora Point' and it is her favourite place to come and sit and just daydream. On her birthday she asked to have a picnic at Pandora Point and she couldn't have chosen a nicer day for it.
I flipped the sketch sideways, but otherwise I kept fairly close to the original sketch design (as its hard to improve on perfection!) I inked and stamped my background paper and layered on my Crate Paper elements. The cute little leaves and mushrooms are 'Prima' and that title (perfect for my page) is a 2Crafty product.

I used up some old Basic Grey letter stickers as masks for the word 'Pandora'. Then I heavily inked over them using a chicken wire mask and added some 2Crafty chevrons to complete the look.

Thanks for stopping round at my blog today. Hope you are having a great week!

Love the way you've done the title...& isn't it funny how LOs take a 'life of their own'...hence the one pic, eh? Those mushrooms are as CUTE as, too:):) Oh, thanks for joining us as SF, of course, too ---- Angela is The Sketch Queen in my books!!!!!!!!

How come your family is happy to do nothing together? When mine have nothing to do they head in opposite directions! Fab layout with a great story yet again.
