I loved the November mood board from 'Scrap Around the World' as soon as I saw it. I knew that I wanted to embrace the rainbow colours and also to have another go at a 'graphics style' background (inspired by Leanne Pearce's tutorial at Scrapfriends last month).
I used a compass to draw the two circles on my white cardstock background. I chose a rainbow of 'girlie' colours from my gelato pens and had fun colouring in segmants from the circles. I used matching coloured papers from 'Amy Tangerine' to build up the laters unser my photos. I took the photos on Sophie's 9th birthday. She dressed up in her new birthday dress and with her recent hair cut she looked so sweet, but also older. That inspired my journaling - a sentiment that I'm sure every parent can relate too!
This is just a quick post as it is school pick up time and I have to dash (its pouring and occasionally thundering here in Auckland today - yuck!).
Thanks for visiting my blog today :)
