Strike a pose!

OMGosh I LOVE Karen Gerbers sketches! Look at this one from the current Sketchabilities challenge! It is totally irresistable!. I decided to use it to scrap these cute photos of my son Adam with his lovely girlfriend Isabel. We were on holiday together when he sneaked up on her from behind and grabbed her for a quick kiss (see her face in the smaller photo!). They very quickly regined their composure and 'struck the perfect pose' for my larger photo!
As you can tell from my background I have been playing with my new 'Inktense' pencils again! I love the vibrant colours that they make when you add water, and the way they blend together so beautifully. When the page was dry I stamped around the edges using a variety of stamps and masks and added a few ink splatters.
All the chipboard on my page is from 2Crafty. The title was perfect for my photos. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

The beautiful circle frame added just the right amount of detail to the page. As the page is quite busy I painted the frame a simple black for a silhouette effect and outlined it with a white gel pen to bring out the details.

Thanks for visiting my blog today. Hope you are looking forward to some 'crafting time' in the very near future!
