My Stunning Girl - Scrap Around the World October Challenge

I love this months inspiration board from Scrap Around the World. I had just taken these gorgeous photos of my daughter Natalie on her 18th birthday and I couldn't wait to scrap them.
I was inspired by the colours on the mood board and also by the fashion shots - Natalie loves to pose and, like most teenage girls, has a vast collection of high heeled shoes!
I used stencils, inks, texture paste and stamps to create my background. I decided to use up some of my washi tape stash instead of patterned paper on this page as I wanted to add more colour and detail without covering up too much of my background work.

Although Natalie was wearing a navy blue dress in the photos that would have matched my colour scheme I decided to use black and white photos to let her personality shine through without competition from other elements.
After looking at the mood board againI added some bling and a scattering of sequins to my page.

I handwrote my journaling and added a chipboard title to complete my page.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my work today. I hope that you will visit the SATW blog and check out this challenge for yourself!
