Today and Forever - DT page for 123 Challenge Blog

Here is my DT page for the 123 Challenge blog. The challenge for October is :

How gorgeous is that? I chose this cute photo of Benji having a cuddle with his big sister. It matched the softness and colours perfectly. I dug out my vast collection of edge punches and set about making an interesting distressed edge effect on my white cardstock background. I then matted the whole page onto an old sheet of patterned paper from my stash that matched the colours I was using and framed the page making it 'pop'. This is a great way to make use of all those older papers that you have and know that you probably will not use!

I stamped and inked my background then matted my photo on layers of patterned papers and cute embellishments (as I always like to do :)

I painted the flourish frame gold and used it as an interesting corner piece to frame part of my title.
Do pop over to 123 Challenge blog and check out the other DT members awesome work. We would love for you to join in with us this month. Have a great week!

Sarah this looks amazing and I love the border star punch. I really love the love shared between brother and sister and that gold swirl on the corner is stunning.
